Local Activists will be holding a stall to celebrate World Animal Day in Llandudno. World Animal Day falls on October 4th and it was the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi the patron saint of animals. It is celebrated all over the world with a variety of events and is a chance to celebrate all animal life.

National March for Farmed Animals - Saturday, 2nd October 2010

For the first time ever a march is being held in London in October to highlight the plight of millions of farm animals killed and abused every day. People from all over the UK will be attending to raise awareness of the holocaust that is the farm animal industry and urging the public to consider the compassionate meat free diet.
